Okay, okay, hear me out. Everyone *loves* Secretary Kim. It's a classic K-drama. But… am I the only one who thinks Kim Mi So isn't *perfect*? Don't throw things at me yet!
The Queen of Efficiency... Or Is She?
She's super organized, sure. Files are color-coded! Schedules are airtight! But sometimes, her robotic efficiency feels… inhuman? Like, where's the spontaneity?
Does she ever just...wing it? Maybe spill coffee on Lee Young Joon (gasp!) and laugh about it? I need to see her relatable side!
The "Perfect" Smile
That smile! It's gorgeous, of course. But it's also permanently plastered on. I'm starting to think it's surgically attached.
Can we get a glimpse of a real emotion, please? A furrowed brow? A genuine, unguarded giggle? I'm dying for some authenticity.
Romance? Or Stockholm Syndrome?
Okay, this might be controversial. But their romance… starts a little weird. He's… kind of obsessed. And she's… compliant.
I'm all for a strong, independent woman. But does she *really* have a choice in the beginning? Or is she just conditioned to cater to his every whim? Food for thought!
Don't get me wrong, their chemistry sizzles. But that power dynamic makes me raise an eyebrow. Where's the genuine connection before the boss-employee relationship blurs?
The Wardrobe Envy (And Discomfort)
Her clothes are amazing. Seriously, that pencil skirt collection? To die for. But is it comfortable? Seriously, heels all day?
I can barely walk in heels for an hour, let alone run around after Lee Young Joon. My feet are screaming just thinking about it. Someone get this woman some flats!
Her Life Outside the Office? Crickets
What does she *do* for fun? Besides plan extravagant dates and anticipate her boss's every need. Seriously, does she have any hobbies?
Does she knit? Paint? Binge-watch questionable reality TV? We need to see her *outside* of work. Show us her messy side!
It feels like her entire existence revolves around Lee Young Joon. Which, I guess, is kind of the point of the show. But still! Get a hobby, girl!
The Mysterious Past
They drag out the childhood trauma for ages! I get it, it's a plot device. But the constant hints and flashbacks get a little tiresome.
Just tell us what happened already! The suspense is killing me (and probably Secretary Kim, too). It feels like this is used to justify her choices without making her complex.
Ultimately, Secretary Kim is entertaining. And Park Min Young is amazing. But maybe, just maybe, Kim Mi So could be a *little* less perfect. And a little more… real. Is that too much to ask?
Maybe she just needs a day off. And a pizza. And a good, long nap. I think we all deserve that.
