Okay, let's be real. We all have that one show we're secretly (or not-so-secretly) obsessed with.
For me? It's The First 48. And specifically, the St. Louis episodes.
But trying to figure out when The First 48: St. Louis airs feels like cracking some kind of ancient code. I'm convinced it's on a schedule only known to a select few.
The Elusive St. Louis Schedule
Seriously, does anyone actually KNOW when new episodes featuring St. Louis are coming?
I feel like I'm constantly refreshing the A&E schedule, hoping for a glimpse of the Gateway Arch and some gritty detective work.
Is it Tuesday nights? Maybe Wednesday? Or does it just magically appear when the moon is in the seventh house and Jupiter aligns with Mars?
My Unpopular Opinion (Brace Yourselves!)
Here's where I might lose some of you, but I need to say it: the St. Louis episodes are the best.
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all the cities featured. But there's just something about the cases in St. Louis that grabs you.
Maybe it's the Midwest vibe? Or the fact that the detectives always seem so down-to-earth?
I'm not sure, but I'm hooked. Hence, my desperate quest to decipher the airdate enigma.
The Frustration is Real
I've tried setting my DVR. I've scoured Reddit threads. I've even considered learning to interpret tea leaves, all in the name of knowing when The First 48: St. Louis will grace my screen.
You'd think in this day and age of streaming and on-demand, figuring out a TV schedule would be easy.
Nope. It's like A&E is deliberately keeping us on the edge of our seats... or maybe they just haven't figured it out either?
The Search Continues...
So, my fellow First 48 fanatics, I implore you: share your wisdom!
Have you cracked the code? Do you have a secret source? A magical crystal ball that reveals future air dates?
Please, enlighten me! Because I'm starting to think I'll only find out when The First 48: St. Louis airs by accidentally stumbling upon it at 3 AM.
Is Binge Watching an Option?
Maybe I should just subscribe to some streaming service that has all the old episodes.
But even then, the hunt for NEW episodes will continue. The thrill of the unknown, I guess!
In the meantime, I'll keep refreshing the A&E website and muttering under my breath about the mysterious schedule. It's a tough life being a First 48: St. Louis enthusiast.
A Plea to A&E
Dear A&E, please, just tell us when the St. Louis episodes are coming!
We're not asking for much. Just a little consistency. A tiny bit of predictability.
Is that too much to ask? We're loyal viewers, after all!
Until then, I'll be here, waiting patiently (and not-so-patiently) for the next installment.
Because even with the frustration, the suspense, and the endless schedule-searching, I know it'll be worth it when I finally see those words: The First 48: St. Louis.
