Okay, controversial opinion time. I need more Eddie Diaz in my life. Is that too much to ask?
I mean, sure, the emergencies are thrilling. The rescues are heart-stopping. But let's be real, the real reason we watch is for Eddie and his swoon-worthy dedication to his son.

But seriously, back to the burning question. When can we expect more 9-1-1 goodness?
The internet is a confusing place. You get whispers, rumors, and wild speculation everywhere you look. Separating fact from fan fiction is basically a superpower these days.
I've even started interpreting tea leaves, all in the hopes of finding an answer. Desperate times, am I right?
The Network Shuffle: Could That Be the Hold Up?
We all know 9-1-1 made a big move, didn't it? New network, new possibilities...and maybe new delays?
Could this shift be affecting the production schedule? Is it causing some behind-the-scenes chaos?
Or are they just taking their sweet time to make sure the new season is absolutely perfect? I'm hoping for the latter, of course.
What I'm Doing To Cope (Besides Obsessively Googling)
While we wait (and wait, and wait), I've been re-watching old episodes. It's not the same, but it helps.
I've also started writing my own 9-1-1 fan fiction. Don't judge! A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do to fill the void.
And yes, Eddie is the main character in all of them. Obviously.
So, What's the Verdict?
The truth is, nobody seems to know for sure when the next season will drop. It's all a big, frustrating mystery.
But one thing is certain: when it finally does arrive, I'll be glued to my TV. Snacks will be prepared, tissues will be at the ready, and I'll be fully prepared to yell at the screen.
Because that's what you do when you're a dedicated 9-1-1 fan, right?
We suffer through the anticipation together.
