When Is The Next Season Of Big Sky

Okay, let's talk Big Sky. We all watched, right? Some of us probably enjoyed it more than others. I’m not judging… much.

The Big Question: Season When?

So, the burning question on everyone's lips: when are we heading back to Montana for more mysteries? The answer is…complicated. ABC hasn’t officially announced anything yet.

That means we're stuck in a frustrating waiting game. A game of refreshing news sites and hoping for a miracle. Honestly, it's almost as suspenseful as an actual episode of Big Sky!

Why the Radio Silence?

Good question! TV scheduling is like a giant, mysterious puzzle. Ratings, production costs, the availability of Kylie Bunbury and Katheryn Winnick...it all plays a part.

Plus, networks are always juggling a million different shows. They’re trying to decide what to renew, what to cancel, and what new series to unleash upon us. It’s a tough job, I guess. But my Big Sky needs are being neglected here, people!

My (Possibly Unpopular) Opinion

Here's where I get a little controversial. Are you ready? Deep breath. I kind of think Big Sky peaked early. Remember those first few episodes? Edge-of-your-seat stuff!

Then things got...well, let's just say the storylines got a little...wild. A little too many twists, perhaps? I felt like they were just adding characters just for the sake of adding characters.

Don’t get me wrong, I still watched! But the magic wasn't quite the same. I'm not saying it was bad, but it did feel like they tried to hard to one up each other.

What Could Happen?

If Big Sky does return, what can we expect? More twists, obviously. Probably some new characters with suspiciously vague backstories. And definitely some stunning Montana scenery.

Maybe they'll bring back some familiar faces. Maybe they'll finally explain what happened to that one character everyone forgot about. (You know the one I mean!) I'm personally hoping for less serial killers.

Staying Hopeful (Sort Of)

Look, I'm a realist. The longer we wait, the less likely a new season becomes. But a small part of me still holds out hope. Maybe ABC will surprise us.

Maybe David E. Kelley will pull another rabbit out of his hat. Maybe Montana just needs us a bit longer. Who knows?

What to Watch While We Wait

Need something to fill the Big Sky-sized hole in your heart? I understand! There are plenty of other crime dramas out there. Maybe something with less...eccentricity.

You could always re-watch the first season of Big Sky. Relive the glory days! Or, you know, branch out. Explore the vast wilderness of streaming services. The world is your oyster!

In the meantime, let's all keep an eye on the news. And maybe send a strongly worded (but polite!) tweet to ABC. Let them know we haven't forgotten about Big Sky. After all, a little persistence never hurt anyone.
