Here's my unpopular opinion: I'm not entirely convinced it's just about production delays. Hear me out!
Maybe they're waiting for the webtoon to get even further ahead. Give them more material, more breathing room? It's a thought!
The source material is HUGE. Catching up entirely too quickly could be disastrous. Nobody wants filler arcs, am I right?
Is the Source Material Ready?
The Tower of God webtoon by SIU is legendary. It's got enough content to fuel, like, ten seasons. Probably more.
But adapting it faithfully? That takes time. Plus, animation quality these days is no joke. It's gotta look good!
So, while we're all impatient, maybe the waiting game is actually a smart move? It would avoid the fate that befalls many other adapted series.
The Hype is Real
Despite the wait, I am still beyond hyped. Bam is just too cool to not see animated again.
I need more Khun scheming. More Rak yelling about turtles. MORE EVERYTHING!
The power system in the series is one of my favorites, so the fight scenes alone make it worthwhile. Let's see some high-quality Shinsu!
