The Great Titan-Sized Wait: When Will We Hear Eren in English?!
Okay, fellow Attack on Titan fanatics! Let's be honest, we're all obsessed.
But there's one question that keeps gnawing at us like a Titan at a Survey Corps member: Where's the final season dub?!
We're talking about the **real** final season. The *absolutely, positively, no-more-colossal-titans-after-this* one.
The Dub Drought is Real
I know, I know. Some of you are perfectly happy watching the subbed version.
You probably scoff at those of us who prefer to hear Eren scream "TATAKAE!" in English. That's fine. You do you.
But let's be real, sometimes you just wanna hear the explosions and the emotional devastation without having to read super fast!
The Rumbling... of Rumors?
The internet is a swirling vortex of rumors.
One day, it's "the dub is dropping next week!". The next, it's "never! The voice actors have all moved to a remote island to raise chickens!"
Probably not, but you get the idea. The information is all over the place.
My "Unpopular" Opinion (Prepare Yourselves!)
Here's where I get controversial.
I think the delay is a *good* thing. GASP! I know, right?
Think about it. This is Attack on Titan we are talking about. This is the finale. We need perfection.
Voice Acting Gods and Goddesses, Assemble!
The voice actors need time to truly *become* their characters.
They need to fully embody the rage, the despair, the existential angst of living in a world constantly threatened by giant naked people.
It's a big job! We’re counting on actors like Bryce Papenbrook who voices Eren, to deliver us the masterpiece.
So, When, Oh When, Will the Dub Arrive?
Honestly? I have no clue. If I did, I'd be living on a yacht right now, funded by insider information.
But I can speculate! And speculate I shall!
My prediction? (And I say this with absolutely zero authority) Maybe a few months after the final episode airs in Japanese.
While We Wait...
What are we supposed to do while we wait? Watch cat videos? Re-read manga?
Actually, those aren't bad ideas!
Seriously though, let's rewatch our favorite episodes, theorize wildly with our friends, and keep our ears perked for any official announcements.
In the Meantime...
Let's all agree on one thing: when the Attack on Titan season 4 dub finally drops, we're all going to binge-watch it immediately.
We'll probably cry, scream, and maybe even throw something at the TV (but not the remote! We need that!).
Because after all this waiting, it better be epic. I think we’re all hoping for an ending that isn’t as divisive as
Game of Thrones, but who knows!
Final Thoughts (and a Plea to Funimation/Crunchyroll)
To Funimation, to Crunchyroll, to whoever holds the key to this dub kingdom: please, be kind. Be merciful.
Don't keep us waiting forever!
Our sanity (and our titan-slaying spirit) depends on it!
