Okay, let's be real. We're all waiting. Impatiently, I might add. When, oh WHEN, will season six of Outlander grace our Netflix screens?

Seriously, it feels like an eternity. We've already binged seasons one through five. Multiple times. My cat now recognizes the opening theme music.
It's like Claire and Jamie are stuck in a time warp again. Only this time, it's a Netflix-induced one. And we're all suffering the consequences.
The Unofficial Prediction Game
So, what's the deal? Predicting the Outlander Netflix release date is a popular pastime. Right up there with debating whether Jamie or Lord John Grey is the better character (unpopular opinion: they both have their moments!).
Typically, Outlander seasons hit Netflix about two years after they finish airing on Starz. Season six wrapped up in May 2022. Do the math… it should be around May 2024.
But, things aren't always that simple, are they? Streaming services love to keep us on our toes. They enjoy our pain, I suspect.
The Theories & The Hope
Some say Netflix is holding back. Maybe they want to build anticipation before the arrival of season seven. Strategic, perhaps, but cruel.
Others whisper about licensing agreements. Legal jargon! The bane of every binge-watcher's existence. It’s a complex situation.
I'm personally holding onto the hope that we'll see season six sooner rather than later. Maybe a surprise drop? A girl can dream, right?
My Wildly Unpopular Outlander Opinion
Okay, brace yourselves. Here it comes. I actually enjoyed season six. Yes, it was shorter. Yes, there were… *ahem* challenges.
But it had some great moments! Claire using ether! Jamie wrestling with his past! And some fantastic cliffhangers! Don't @ me!
It set the stage for season seven. And without season six, we'd be totally lost. So, Netflix, please hurry up! Give the season six haters a chance!
While We Wait…
What can we do in the meantime? Re-watch seasons one through five, obviously. Read the books. Write fan fiction. Start a petition!
We can also debate the merits of various historical inaccuracies in the show. Or argue about whether Brianna should have stayed in her own time (another unpopular opinion: she made the right call!).
Most importantly, we can commiserate together. We are united in our Outlander Netflix thirst. Misery loves company, after all!
Netflix, We're Begging You!
So, Netflix, if you're listening (or reading!), please, please, PLEASE give us a date. A crumb of information. Anything!
We're starting to get desperate. We may resort to drastic measures. Like writing strongly worded letters. Or, worse, cancelling our subscriptions (just kidding… mostly).
We just want to return to Fraser's Ridge. We want to see Claire and Jamie again. Is that too much to ask?
