Okay, folks, listen up! Wild Adventures is at it again. They're kicking off the season with Shamrock The Park. Green beer and rollercoasters? Sign me up (maybe).
Shamrock The Park: My (Slightly) Unpopular Opinions
Don't get me wrong, I love a good theme park. And who doesn't love a bit of St. Patrick's Day fun? But am I the only one who thinks combining the two is… interesting?
Hear me out. I have some thoughts, and I feel that you are likely to agree with me on at least one of them.
Green Beer: Yay or Nay?
Green beer. It's a St. Paddy's Day staple. But let's be real. It's just regular beer with food coloring. Am I wrong?
I know, I know, blasphemy! But is it truly delicious? Or is it just festive? It does look cool in a glass, though.
Maybe my unpopular opinion is showing here, but beer is just beer, no matter the color.
Rollercoasters After Corned Beef?
Speaking of unpopular opinions… Who wants to ride a rollercoaster after chowing down on corned beef and cabbage? Not me.
That sounds like a recipe for disaster. A very green, possibly projectile disaster. I might pass on that "thrill".
Irish Music and Thrill Rides?
Irish music is great. Don't get me wrong. But does it really set the mood for a massive drop on a rollercoaster? I'm unconvinced.
I can't decide whether Irish music at a thrill park sounds like fun, or more like chaos. Perhaps it will be strangely calming.
Imagine the bagpipes blasting as you plummet towards the earth on the Twisted Typhoon. It is truly something.
The Quest for the Perfect Shamrock
I picture people wandering around, desperately searching for the perfect shamrock. To find their luck, of course!
Is that really a St. Patrick's Day in Georgia? Or are people just trying to get away from the crowds? I'll probably be one of the crowd avoiders.
Is Shamrock The Park worth it?
Okay, despite my playful cynicism, I'm probably going to Shamrock The Park. Why? Because it's Wild Adventures! And it's a fun excuse to get out.
Maybe I'll even try the green beer. Just one. For the experience. Don't tell anyone I said that.
So, will I embrace the green? Maybe. Will I ride a rollercoaster after corned beef? Probably not. But will I have a good time? Almost definitely.
At the very least I will get some fresh air and some sun. And that is the goal of any good day out!
Embrace the Silliness
Ultimately, Shamrock The Park is about embracing the silliness. It's about letting loose and having some fun, even if it's a little… unconventional.
So, go get your green on. Ride some rollercoasters. Eat some questionable food. And maybe, just maybe, you'll find your pot of gold.
Or at least a slightly dizzying, green-tinged good time.
And if you see me looking pale on the Goliath after a corned beef sandwich? Please don't judge.
