Now, Shirayuki is a fantastic character. Independent, resourceful, and strong-willed.

She deserves a partner who challenges her, someone with a little bit of an edge.

Someone who isn’t just a walking, talking, prince-shaped paragon of virtue.

Maybe I'm just craving some spice! A little drama! A character with layers.

Unpopular Opinion Incoming

And here it is: what if… gasp… Zen was a little less perfect?

Imagine him with a hidden insecurity, a past mistake, or even just a really, really bad habit.

Suddenly, way more interesting, right? A true complex character.

"But he's a prince! He has responsibilities!"

I hear you. But even princes are people. People with flaws. And those flaws make them interesting.

Other Suitors on the Scene

Let's be honest, the show has some other interesting candidates.

Consider Obi. Loyal, skilled, and has a fun chaotic energy.

Or even Raji. He had a whole character development arc.

Maybe Shirayuki should have gone in a slightly different direction.

Look, I don’t hate Zen. I just think he could have been so much more.
