Okay, Confession Time... About Mummies (and Hulu)
Let's be real. Sometimes, streaming services feel like they're hiding treasures. I mean, are we all just supposed to *know* everything that's available?
This brings me to my slightly embarrassing, slightly unpopular opinion. I had no clue How to Keep a Mummy was hiding out on Hulu. Like, zero. Nada.
The Great Mummy Mystery: Hulu's Little Secret?
Seriously, where was the memo? The giant billboard? The skywriting airplane spelling out, "CUTE MUMMY ANIME ON HULU!"?
I feel personally victimized by the lack of promotion. It's like finding out your favorite bakery sells the best donuts after they've already sold out for the day.
Don't get me wrong. I love Hulu. But sometimes, it feels like they're intentionally making us search for gems. It's a streaming scavenger hunt!
My Accidental Mummy Discovery
I stumbled upon How to Keep a Mummy completely by accident. I was probably looking for something totally different, maybe a true crime doc, you know, the usual.
And then, BAM! Tiny, adorable mummy staring back at me. Instant click. No regrets.
I immediately thought, "Why didn't anyone tell me about this?!" Was everyone else in on this delightful secret?
Was I Living Under a (Pyramid-Shaped) Rock?
It's entirely possible I was living under a rock. A very comfy, Netflix-filled rock, but still a rock.
The internet can be a confusing place. So much content, so little time. It's a legitimate problem, people!
And perhaps I should diversify my streaming news sources. Maybe follow a "Hidden Gems on Hulu" blog. Or start one myself!
Why *How to Keep a Mummy* Deserves More Hype
Look, I'm no anime expert. But I know what I like. And I really, really like this show.
The premise is just so charming! A high schooler receives a miniature mummy as a gift. Cuteness overload ensues.
It's wholesome, funny, and surprisingly heartwarming. Basically, the perfect antidote to doomscrolling.
My Unpopular Opinion: *How to Keep a Mummy* is Underrated
Okay, here it is. My truly unpopular opinion: How to Keep a Mummy deserves way more recognition. Like, award-winning, trending-on-Twitter levels of recognition.
Maybe it's the simplicity of the story. Maybe it's the irresistible charm of Mii-kun (the mummy!). Whatever it is, it works.
It's the kind of show that just makes you feel good. And in today's world, who doesn't need a little bit of that?
So, Is It *Actually* on Hulu? Asking for a Friend...
The question is still lingering: Is everyone else aware of this anime's existence? Am I the last one to the party?
Please, tell me I'm not alone in my late discovery! Share your stories of unexpected Hulu finds!
And if you haven't seen How to Keep a Mummy yet, please do yourself a favor and check it out. You can thank me later.
My Plea to Hulu: Spread the Word!
Dear Hulu, please, for the love of adorable mummies everywhere, promote this show more!
Give How to Keep a Mummy the spotlight it deserves. Let the world know about its existence!
Because everyone deserves a little bit of miniature mummy magic in their lives.
P.S. If Mii-kun isn't the cutest anime character of all time, I don't know what is.
