Okay, Let's Dish: Love & Hip Hop Season 10, Episode 12
Alright, folks, let's talk Love & Hip Hop. Specifically, Season 10, Episode 12. Prepare for some potentially spicy opinions. I might even say…unpopular opinions. Don’t hate me!
The Drama, The Shade, The...Everything
This episode was a rollercoaster. Remember Yandy trying to mediate? Bless her heart. She really tries to keep the peace, doesn’t she?
And then there was Mendeecees. Always stirring the pot from afar! Can someone please get him a GPS for family drama boundaries?
Let's be real, the beef between Erica Mena and... well, practically everyone, was still simmering. I mean, is there ever NOT drama with Erica M.? I’m not condoning it, just…observing.
Rich Dollaz: Still...Rich?
Can we talk about Rich Dollaz for a second? He's always involved in something. Always.
Is he actually still making money? Or is he just perpetually famous for being… Rich Dollaz? These are the questions that keep me up at night.
Maybe he’s got a secret stash of dollaz somewhere. Or maybe he just lives off the drama. Who knows?
The Side Eye Hall of Fame
The side-eye in this episode deserves its own award. I think Remy Ma should host the ceremony. She's a master of the art.
Seriously, some of those glares could cut diamonds. You could practically feel the tension through the screen. Bravo, side-eye participants!
I think my personal favorite came from Safaree during…well, let’s just say during a conversation he probably didn’t want to be a part of. Relatable.
My Hot Take (Prepare Yourself)
Okay, here it is. My unpopular opinion about this episode: I kind of missed Chrissy Lampkin! I know, I know!
But hear me out. She always brought a certain…realness to the show. A bluntness that was sometimes refreshing. Don’t get me wrong, I love the new cast. But a little bit of old-school L&HH grit wouldn't hurt, right?
Couples Therapy: A Reality TV Staple
Of course, no Love & Hip Hop season would be complete without some couples therapy. It's like a rite of passage at this point.
Does it ever actually work? Debatable. But it sure does make for good TV! Seeing people air their dirty laundry in front of a professional? Priceless.
I'm pretty sure the therapists on these shows deserve hazard pay. They’re dealing with levels of drama most people only experience in nightmares.
The Verdict?
Overall, episode 12 delivered. It had the drama, the laughs, and the questionable life choices we’ve all come to expect from Love & Hip Hop.
Was it groundbreaking television? Probably not. Was it entertaining? Absolutely. Would I watch it again? You bet your bottom dollar.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go rewatch all the side-eye moments. For research purposes, of course.
Final Thought
Maybe, just maybe, we're all a little bit messy inside, just like the folks on Love & Hip Hop. It's why we watch, isn't it? To feel a little less alone in our own chaotic lives.
