Maybe…just maybe…we don't *need* a Scandal reboot. Gasp!

Hear me out! Scandal was perfect. It was a time capsule of soapy, political goodness. Revisiting it could ruin the magic.

Plus, think about it. The real world is giving us enough plot twists and scandalous behavior. We're basically living the sequel. Just without the awesome outfits and killer dialogue (mostly).

"I'm not saying I wouldn't watch a Scandal reunion special. I'm just saying...maybe some things are best left untouched." - Me, probably regretting this later.

What Are We Supposed To Watch Instead?!

Alright, alright, I get it. You need your Shonda Rhimes fix. I do too!

Luckily, she's been busy. We've got Grey's Anatomy (still going strong!), How to Get Away with Murder, and Bridgerton.

And let's not forget Inventing Anna! Talk about a con artist worthy of Olivia Pope's attention!

Plus, there's a whole world of amazing political dramas out there. House of Cards, The West Wing, Madam Secretary...the list goes on.

The Truth Is Out There (Probably On Hulu)

So, to answer the original question: no, there's no new Scandal episode coming out anytime soon (that we know of!).

But don't despair! We can always rewatch the old episodes. Relive the glory days of Olivia and Fitz.

Binge-watching is basically a national pastime, right?

And who knows? Maybe one day Shonda Rhimes will surprise us all. Maybe Kerry Washington will dust off her power suits.
